Grateful in the Midst of Chaos: A Practice in Cultivating Joy
To live a path of gratitude is hard earned work. Through practicing the habit of gratitude, we can discover our strength in the softening of our minds, hearts and bodies. To be in a state of gratitude is to be open to the beauty, meaning, and wonder of life, and say yes to life as it is. In our busyness it is easy to succumb to the shadow of the negative, the fear, the chaos, the uncertainty. We invite you to stop and breathe – to slow down and be present to the fullness of the moment and to receive the joy that comes from gratitude practice.
This 2 hour workshop includes guided mindfulness, experiencing practices that help us cultivate joy and gratitude, and voluntary discussion time. We hope you can join us. Registration is required and it will be closed after the first 30 spaces are filled. To register, please go to Community Events/Calendar at www.usn.org.
Facilitated by Mary Agee & Shelly Sowell.
